29 Mar Food for Thought…

While I’ve only eaten at Chipotle twice in my lifetime, I give them major credit for their philosophy, the commitment to our farmers and their animals, and for putting together the BEST commercial I’ve ever seen. In 2 minutes it covers the importance of sustainable living in an engaging and thought-provoking way. Enjoy this oldie but goodie on this throwback Thursday and ponder how the food you are eating got to your plate.

Lovely video. Thanks for posting it because I have never eaten at Chipotle because of its association with McDonalds (they used to own 80% of Chipotle). Seeing your video led me to do a search once again and I found out that McDonalds and Chipotle parted ways in 2006 first with McDonalds still having some slight influence that soon vanished. I know there are lots more people like myself that still mistakingly believe McDonalds owns Chipotle so I am glad your video allowed me to find out the truth and I am happy to share the information any time it comes up. Don’t know that I will be running to Chipotle but at least now it will be an option. Love the Willie Nelson cover of Coldplay’s Scientist. The song fits perfectly and beautifully with the video and the message. Thanks!

Thanks for the very-informative comment, Rebeca! It certainly adds value to this post. As a mom of 3, I feel the load is slightly lightened by having an option while on the go that matches my values!
