Eileen was the only non-physician asked to speak at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Translational Research Symposium focusing on scientific, clinical and sociological aspects of triple-negative breast cancer. She related her own experience as a breast cancer survivor, and emphasized the importance of linguistic and cultural competence when treating diverse populations.
